Daffodil Day at Wells House and Gardens

Every year we host our Daffodil Day Coffee Morning in support of the Irish Cancer Society.  Lady Frances who lived in Wells House in the 1830s was an avid gardener and loved daffodils as did her daughter Kathleen. Our love of daffodils can be seen on the great avenue where the current owners have planted over 40 different varieties of daffodils so join us today as we raise funds for this worthy charity.

In order to encourage donations to the Irish Cancer Society our barrier will be raised on the day!

Flora and Fauna Workshop of Wells House and Gardens; This workshop is designed to connect children with nature and the environment and develop their ‘green time’. Outdoor education is important- it may help concentration and memory. Children gain a sense of wonder and respect for the natural environment.
